== Skate of the Union ==
In [[June 2007]], Mikrosopht began a "[[Human Powered Vehicle|human-powered]]" trek across the continental United States called "Skate of the Union."  His goal was to make it from east coast to west coast, in a matter of months, all on a skateboard.  According to the website, it was a "cross-country human-powered create-your-own adventure."[http://www.skateoftheunion.net]
On September 4, 2007, Kelley called his project completed as he reached Portland, Oregon.

He kept a travelogue at his website, which was updated daily from a cell phone.

Pending the imminent deletion of his Wikipedia page, Benjamin Kelley issued the following statement to friends and others via email:
