Moghborr is a young bugbear in a Dungeons and Dragons campaign played by the Northland Preparatory Academy Games Club, with Mr. Vincent Bono acting as Dungeon Master.
Moghborr grew up in a tribe of bugbears working for a powerful necromancer by the name of "The Hand" (character and all rights owned by Mr. Vincent Bono.) Moghborr lived an average life for a bugbear, and he spent his life looting, training, and pillaging. His tribe made up one of The Hand’s raiding parties, acting as the brute force to back up The Hand's sinister intellect. Then the zenith of his life came. The Hand ordered him, and a couple of comrades, to lead a force of goblinoids, serving under Faulgar—a sinister were-rat wizard.
Later, a party of adventurers infiltrated the lair of Faulgar, and tricked him into sending out most of his army elsewhere. With Faulgar’s forces weakened, the adventurers attacked. Moghborr led a small band of orcs, goblins, and bugbears against the party, in an attempt to defend his sinisr master. Unfortunately Moghborr fell in battle. A black bear—commanded by a Wood Elf Ranger, who is played by Mak Manson—ripped open Moghbter chest cavity, killing him.
Faulgar soon fell, and the party began to rejoice, until they heard a sinister booming sound of a hill giant approaching. A Half-Elf Cleric/Necromancer, played by Foster Bousquet, cast Animate Dead on Moghborr. Suddenly, the recently deceased bugbear rose to fight again, this time with the adventurers. The hill giant came forward, and the adventurers began their assault. Nathan Grey—a Human Warrior, played by Krishen Blows—attempted to hamstring the giant, without luck. Then a kick from the giant hit him, knocking him to the ground. As he fell, his knife skidded out of reach. The giant turned to stomp him, to finish him off, but was stopped. Moghborr intercepted the death blow, by did this by grievously wounding the giant with a swing from his battle-axe, saving Nathan's life.
The giant was soon slain, the Necromancer released his spell, and Moggborr's lifeless corpse fell back to the ground. Nathan approached the corpse. He picked up the ratty, patched-up, piece of cloth Moghborr had worn, across his shoulders and back, and donned it as a cloak. Forever thereafter he wore The Cloak of Moghborr, as a memorial to the big, furry, goblinoid that had saved his life. The only downside to cloack is that, due to Moghborr's less-than-obsessive regard to personal hygiene in life, the cloak is so foul that it comes with an automatic -5 Charisma modifier.
