Zenburn is a programming syntax highlighting color scheme created by Jani Nurminen in 2002. Zenburn was originally created for Vim but has since been adapted to many different Integrated Development Environments, including Visual Studio 2005, KDevelop and Emacs, and other programs, such as SubEthaEdit, Notepad++, KDE and Putty.
